MOUNTAIN BIKING
Chapada Diamantina offers a good variety of moutain biking options for all levels. From the traditional tours around Lençóis, trough the old mining road until the Roncador Waterfall, to more complex tours, biking around the Park, spending the night in different towns and villages. photos
HORSE RIDING
Another good idea to enjoy the rivers and falls around Lençóis. The tour can be half day or full day, visiting amazing rivers and old mining areas around the town.
BOAT OR KAYAKING
The boat or kayaking tours runs around the Pantanal Marimbus area, 30 minutes from Lençóis. It’s a wide swamp area, rich in birdlife and vegetation. The adventure starts at the Remanso village until the Roncador waterfall for a good swim and lunch. You can choose to go on a boat wit a group, or by kayaking ( individuals)  photos
ROCK CLIMBING
One of our specialties. The climbing routes are located around the lençóis river area, in big blocks that range from 15 to 25 meters. The dificulty level starts very low, being a great tour speacilty for begginers and first timers. Besides the climbing, the tour visits some nice waterfalls along the way. it’s a full day tour for all ages. photos
RAPEL ( Abseling )
Another vertical specialty from Nas Alturas. The rappelling is accessible for all people who wants to enjoy the a good adrenaline along with amazing views. One of the main places is the gruta do Lapão, one of the biggest quartzite caves in Brazil. the rappeling is made at the outside part of the cave, 50 meters high. photos
LONG TREKS
The long treks ( from 2 to 6, 8 days ), is one of the main attractions in Chapada Diamantina. There are many trekking options for all levels, crossing the National Par from North to south. There are some technical treks, going trough the rivers and canyons, as the Cachoeira do 21, Cachoeira do Mixila or Cachoeira da Fumaça. There also many treks crossing amazing landscapes, mountains and watrefalls. The Pati Valley is considered one of the Best treks in the country. the overnights can be at native’s houses along the way, wich makes the tour even more interesting. CAVING
The town of Iraquara is considered one of the biggest concetrations of Limestone caves in Brazil. the area has around 200 diferent caves, and some of them can be visited. the more visited one’s are the Lapa Doce and Torrinha. On the way, amazing rock formations, stalactites rich in details and colors. There are some caves with blue crystal water where the visitors can snorkel inside, as the Poço Azul ( at Nova Redenção) and Pratinha. photos
DAY HIKES
A There is a wide choice of trails for a day. The paths can vary from 6 to 18km a day through stunning visuals. There are options for various technical levels, to meet everyone. The tracks are the more traditional Waterfall of Smoke (above), the Cachoeira do Sossego, Ribeiṛo the middle, Morṛo Trail of the Valley Cap̣o РGuinea, among others. photos
